At Choices we help you find out what works best for you. Through individual counselling we help you to become more empowered and to make informed changes. In our social networking group, we help you find people in your network who can support you and help you develop a new social network by attending our weekly groups.
Our holistic approach revolves around your unique situation. How drug, alcohol or mental health problems affect your life and can create barriers to a healthy lifestyle. If you are an asylum seeker or have recently received a residence permit, we help you build a solid foundation by staying connected to a positive social network.
Together with you, we draw up a plan on how you can tackle this. Together we will find the best way forward. If you need mental health care, drug treatment or additional support services, we will put you in touch with the right organisation to suit your specific needs.
From the very first moment at Choices, we offer personalized support to work on substance abuse and sexual risk behaviors. We help everyone find what works best for them. Our individual support is always a collaborative process, tailored to our participants' wants and needs to achieve their personal prevention and treatment goals.
We enable people to connect with other participants who, like them, have made a lifestyle change choice and are considering starting some form of treatment support. The groups focus on providing structure, goal setting and building a new social network to support lifestyle changes.
Substance use often goes hand in hand with STI, hepatitis and HIV infections. That is why our services are also aimed at changing sexual risk behaviour. Choices offers behavioural interventions for the prevention of STI, hepatitis and HIV infections. Our team of professionals can easily connect our clients with organizations in our healthcare network. For testing we work closely with GGD (Municipal Health Service), SOAIDS Nederland and Soapoli-Online.
